Although even 30 year old electrical wiring should be perfectly safe, if you are moving into an old pre-war house or business premises having the wiring checked out should be undertaken. The insulation on older wiring often becomes brittle or perishes with age. We don’t just say your property needs rewiring, but will point out exactly what the problems are and why you should consider the option.
Unlike many of our competitors, we don’t charge our commercial clients inflated commercial fees. Whether you are relocating to older premises and want your wiring checked out, or are adding additional equipment, our NICEIC certified electricians in Cheadle Hulme are fully conversant with both single and three-phase systems. Please phone our office to discuss how we can help keep the cogs of your industry turning.

Cheadle Hulme is an upmarket suburb in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport in Cheshire. The area was acquired by the Moseley family in 17h century and was originally know as Cheadle Moseley. Interestingly, in the 1086 Domesday Book Cheadle Hulme and Cheadle were classed as a single estate and was predominantly woodland. In 1326 the current land holder, Matilda Chedle, whose name was taken fro the land, died leaving the land to her two daughters as there were no male heirs. The land was divided between Clemence and Agnes with Clemence inheriting the land that is now know as Cheadle Hulme.
Unlike many English villages Cheadle Hulme did not grow around a church at its centre, but instead grew from several hamlets that existed in the areas eventually forming into one. Many of these hamlets still have their influence on the area with the names carrying through to the current day. Hamlet names Smith Green, Lane End and Gill Bent are still known today. Hursthead School in Cheadle Hulme was once Hursthead Farm and has carried the name of the farm on which it was built.
